Experience the thrills of a hot Mediterranean summer with the national drink of Cyprus – the Brandy Sour! Legend has it that this refreshing drink was created for the young King Farouk of Egypt during one of his visits to the Mediterranean island. King Farouk, who loved Western cocktails, being a Muslim monarch, couldn’t be seen drinking alcohol in public. Thus, the local bartenders devised a clever ploy; a cocktail that looks like an iced tea.

A beloved refreshment for a warm summer’s evening, this classic cocktail is simple enough to make and tastes delightful when paired with our Mansion House French Brandy.
